Welcome to the Primary Care Skin Clinic located in Pickering, Ontario. We provide dermatology care for patients in the community of all ages and skin types. Our providers are Family Physicians with additional training in Dermatology who strive to improve the quality of life of patients with skin conditions/diseases.
We are NOT Board Certified Dermatologists.
We are Family Physicians with a Focused Practice Designation in Dermatology.

DR. DARSHINI PERSAUDE

Dr. Darshini Persaude is a Family Physician practicing in Dermatology in Pickering, Ontario. She graduated from the University of the West Indies Medical School in
Jamaica in 1992 and completed her family medicine training at the University of
Toronto in 2000. In 2012, she was awarded a Fellowship designation in the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She has a Diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction from Cardiff University in Wales and a Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy from HealthCert.
She is an adjunct lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She attends conferences regularly and is committed to ongoing learning and providing high quality educational opportunities for medical students, residents and family physicians in Dermatology. Dr. Persaude is a founding member and past president of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada.
She is passionate about the importance of sun protection for everyone, of all skin types and of all ages and tries to promote this message whenever she can.
Dr. Persaude has a Focused Practice Designation in Dermatology as recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ontario Medical Association.
